Tucked away down quiet country lanes past the windmill at Great Bircham, Moor Farm Cottage is a beautifully finished barn style property enjoying open views over fields to the village beyond. The perfect base for exploring the very best of North Norfolk.
The heart of the cottage is a generous open-plan kitchen and living space — ideal for the whole family to gather. Sink into comfortable sofas beside the woodburner, or pull up a chair at the dining table. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms — a king-size room with its own en-suite shower room, and a twin bedroom. A large sofa bed on the landing sleeps up to two more guests. A ground-floor shower room with corner shower, basin and WC serves the rest of the party.
Step outside to two private outdoor spaces. A decked terrace adjoins the property, perfect for al fresco dining, while a second sun deck is positioned to catch the last of the evening sun — complete with a full outdoor sofa set. Both are set within a private enclosed mature garden.

Great Bircham & the North Norfolk Coast
Moor Farm Cottage sits on the edge of Great Bircham, a quiet, unspoilt Norfolk village in the heart of the countryside between Sandringham and the North Norfolk coast. The village has everything you need for a perfect rural escape: the King's Head pub serves excellent food and local ales, Bircham Country Stores stocks local produce with an adjoining café, and the iconic Bircham Windmill — open April to September — is a short walk away.
The coast is on your doorstep. Brancaster beach, with its vast empty sands, is just 15 minutes away. Burnham Market — often called the Mayfair of Norfolk — is 10 minutes by car, with independent shops, delis, and excellent restaurants. Holkham beach and its National Nature Reserve is 20 minutes away, and Wells-next-the-Sea with its famous coloured beach huts is equally close.
Sandringham Estate — the King's country residence — is just 7 miles away. Houghton Hall, with its spectacular walled garden and world-class art installations, is only 5 minutes by car. Whether you're after coastal walks, wildlife watching, cycling quiet country lanes, or simply unwinding beside the woodburner — Great Bircham is the perfect base.
